Junior Compliance Officer

The Junior Compliance Officer will be a member of the SEI Legal and Compliance Team. You will work primarily with a team of global compliance officers responsible for regulatory compliance for SEI, its subsidiaries and funds. You will also work with a team of attorneys and legal services managers who are responsible for providing legal advice and services to support SEI's domestic and global financial services solutions. You will work in a team environment and report to the office manager of the Legal and Compliance Team.
What you'll do:
'Point person for the preparation, coordination and review of compliance due diligence materials for the various regulated entities.
'Administration, review and analysis of initial, quarterly, and annual questionnaires from investment managers.
'Assist in the administration of the SEI Compliance Portal and other systems and managing user access to the system.
'Conduct regular testing and monitoring of established policies and procedures as well as evaluating controls of SEI Trust Company.
'Assist in updates to compliance risk assessment processes of SEI Trust Company.
'Improve existing procedures, systems and processes to gain efficiencies across the Legal and Compliance Team.
'Provide additional support based on the needs of the Legal and Compliance Team.
'Participate in and deliver any projects as needed by the Legal and Compliance Team.
Position Requirements
What you bring to the table:
'BS/BA degree or equivalent in work experience
'Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
'Ability to complete research as required
'Demonstrated ability as a self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask
'Excellent organizational skills
'Excellent writing and communication skills
'Exceptional interpersonal skills
'Required work schedule of 40 hours per week

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
