Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Management Analyst works within the SEI Private Trust Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of SEI. Treasury Management analyst role consists of moving daily settlement funds to/through our cash agent bank, Wells Fargo, client funding, end customer disbursements, exception handling, and daily interaction with the Liquidity/Treasury Management Team. This role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive delivery schedule ensuring the satisfactory delivery of all assigned functions and client service.
The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to some or all of the following:
Administration, Process and Controls
Responsible for developing, maintaining and ensuring the associated procedures and controls around all cash activities are carried out according to policies in order to satisfy all audits and minimize any and all risk
Responsible for managing to agreed OLA's to ensure delivery of services to the client in an accurate and timely manner
Manage workflow queues and adjust resources as necessary to complete all items by internal and external cut off times
Perform effectively in a team environment including internal SEI teams (market units, development, operations)
Where required, train other team members
Obtain professional certifications where required
Monitor and adhere to administrative policies and procedures
Cash Specific Responsibilities
Production and safekeeping of checks
Check sorting/fulfillment
Other assorted cash/payment processing functions such as payment stop/void processing.
Processing of manual payment requests, into the various portals of SEI and its clients' various Cash Agents (i.e. Wells Fargo, US Bank)
All processing and service related to Payments/Cash Processing for the SWP US Client Base
Review, investigate & resolve exceptions
Reconcile and clear reconciliation breaks
Respond to client and internal inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner
Provide coverage and support to various team members and may be called upon to assist with related activities within GWS US Operations Services
Position Requirements
BA/BS degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or business related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
Analyze and resolve problems in logical manner
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and clients.
Make decisions involving issues that may impact company financials, and making recommendations based upon interpreting policies, procedures, and regulations.
Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Work effectively and productively with others.
Demonstrate effective and professional written and verbal communication skills for a business work environment
effectively coordinate, perform and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and in a timely manner.
Must be willing to work effectively independently, as well as in a team, in an open floor environment
Previous experience in a Banking environment is a plus
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the working environment requires extensive walking and may require the employee to be exposed to weather conditions as part of traveling from building to building. Noise level in the environment is moderate; the individual has to be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time, to be able to hear conversations on the telephone and converse with clients.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
