SEI's Investment Manager Services division (IMS) provides a platform of comprehensive investment operations outsourcing solutions to investment managers globally. This array of front-, middle- and back-office investment processing services integrates best-in-class industry tools and technology to support a manager's diverse business needs across multiple product types and structures, investment strategies and asset classes. The IMS division provides operational outsourcing solutions to investment managers who manage products ranging from mutual funds, collective investment trusts and ETFs to hedge, private equity and real estate funds, as well as separately managed accounts and institutional client accounts.
The responsibilities for this position may include some of or all of the following:
Work with current sales directors to understand sales process
Assist in preparation of sales presentations and cost models
Research and promote business development opportunities
Support Sales for key accounts
Assist in developing sales strategies, track the progress of the sales stages and report on a weekly basis.
Organize, manage and develop contacts, leads and sales opportunities
Work with internal and external counterparts to close sales deals
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the fund industry
Assist in developing sales presentations and designs
Conduct competitor analysis
Prepare market analysis
Track and report team sales metrics
Collaborate with colleagues to manage the RFP process
Maintain contact with all firms in database to uncover new opportunities (ex - cold calling)
Participate in regular team sales meetings and trainings
Maintain and demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of prospects business needs and SEI's services and solutions
Attend industry conferences, seminars and trade shows.
Position Requirements
B.S. / B.A in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field
3 years' experience in Traditional Operations or specific industry experience required
Minimum 2 years IMS Operations experience preferred having demonstrated strong Traditional Investment Product knowledge interfacing with clients
Self-starter and target focused
Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced environment managing multiple projects
Works well under pressure
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong business relationships
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
Strong organizational skills
Comfortable in "cold calling" environment with tenacity to generate leads
Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Internet Skills
Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business and/or client needs
Location and Hours
This job is located in Oaks, PA.
Up to 50% travel will be required
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
