Regional Director: Institutional Sales

SEI, a leading provider of institutional fiduciary management and OCIO solutions with more than $339 billion in assets under management worldwide, has an opening for a Regional Director of Institutional Sales. This individual will be responsible for selling SEI's fiduciary management solution to Large Institutional Investors throughout the United States.
Institutional Investor markets may include selling to Endowments, Foundations, Corporations, Healthcare Organizations, Multiemployer and Government entities. This position will report to the Managing Director of North American Business Development and be part of the North American Business Development Team.
Activities and responsibilities include:
' Developing new name institutional relationships
' Management of a geographic territory with responsibility for lead generation, follow-up and management of sales activities from introduction to implementation
' Developing sales strategies and execute collaboratively with other experts on SEI's Institutional Investor team
' Facilitating and promoting teamwork efforts in the achievement of sales goals
' Becoming well versed on new products / services and other general information of interest to clients
' Maintaining the sales contact management system on a continuing basis
Position Requirements
Minimum requirements:
' Seven years institutional asset management experience
' Prior sales and/or relationship management experience with demonstrated conceptual sales skills
' Extensive knowledge of the institutional marketplace and competitive advantages of a fiduciary management / OCIO solution
' History of meeting with and articulating a value proposition to sophisticated investors
' Experience in selling and/ or managing institutional relationships at many levels of an organization
' Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a consultative sales process

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
