Implementations Lead

The SEI Wealth Platform (the Platform) is an outsourcing solution for wealth managers encompassing wealth processing services and wealth management programs, combined with business process expertise. With the Platform, SEI provides wealth management organizations with the infrastructure, operations, and administrative support necessary to capitalize on their strategic objectives in a constantly shifting market. The SEI Wealth Platform supports trading and transactions on 156 stock exchanges in 55 countries and 43 currencies, through the use of straight-through processing and a single operating infrastructure environment.
The Platform Delivery Implementations team manages and/or coordinates all operational aspects of projects related to existing SEI Wealth Platform Services. These include on-boarding of new firms (with or without existing books of business), re-configurations, firm acquisitions, and client projects for certain business events pertaining to SEI Wealth Platform firms and third parties.
The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to some or all of the following:
Lead and/or participate in various simultaneous client and internal projects or initiatives
Participate in project plans for each client implementation or client project in conjunction with the project management team
Support the development of the project management lifecycle through standardization and continuous improvement efforts
Ensure that all interdependencies and resource needs are captured and managed
Maintain project and team artifacts
Effectively support status updates to SEI stakeholders and clients as needed
Manage collection and population of operational configuration items in support of new client setup on the SEI Wealth Platform
Support the asset and custody migration process
Assist in the development and support of client training and model office
Engage various internal teams as needed to support potential changes in service or operational processes including development needs
Ensure Operational Readiness to support and process for incoming firms
Perform effectively in a team environment including internal SEI teams (market units, development, operations)
Where required, train other team members
Be able to function as an individual contributor and make independent decisions where needed
Obtain professional certifications where required
Monitor and adhere to administrative policies and procedures
Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business and/or client needs
Position Requirements
B.S./B.A. in Business or related field preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry
SEI Wealth Platform systems a strong plus
Working knowledge of SWIFT, FX, Cash and Custody processes
Knowledge of Private Banking business.
Knowledge of global instruments including equity, fixed income and fund markets
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word ; SharePoint a plus
Strong organizational skills including an ability to manage multiple plans with concurrent deliverables and resource needs
Proven ability to support resource load balancing across multiple projects
Ability to work effectively under little supervision
Ability to effectively and successfully manage multiple tasks and deliverables
Excellent time management skills
Strong adaptability, innovative skills, and attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Must be an effective communicator, with proven experience delivering presentations to senior management and large audiences
Strong writing skills, including an ability to effectively document
Ability to work well in a team environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
