Configuration Management Front Office Lead

The SEI Wealth Platform (the Platform) is an outsourcing solution for wealth managers encompassing wealth processing services and wealth management programs, combined with business process expertise. With the Platform, SEI provides wealth management organizations with the infrastructure, operations, and administrative support necessary to capitalize on their strategic objectives in a constantly shifting market. The SEI Wealth Platform supports trading and transactions on 156 stock exchanges in 55 countries and 43 currencies, through the use of straight-through processing and a single operating infrastructure environment.
The Configuration Management (CM) team manages and/or coordinates all application configuration, whether internal or external (client facing) aspects of SEI Wealth Platform (SWP). The team is responsible for coordinating with all development teams to capture all new and enhancements to existing configurations needs to the platform. The team also manages the configuration gathering and implementation of new clients on the platform. The team also interacts with all the market units (UK, PB, Advisor, and Ops) to capture their requirements as well from configuration perspective.
The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to some or all of the following:
Implementation Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor timelines and project plans in accordance with contract agreements.
Prepare internal Statements of Work (SOW) and project timelines in accordance with technical, production, and customer requirements.
Conduct kick-off meetings with every new client; reviews expectations and creates written project implementation plans with milestones and deliverables in conjunction with the Sales, PMO, and Relationship Management Teams.
Gather configuration, document new development requirements, and assist clients with set-up decisions based on product knowledge.
Coordinate all aspects of project implementation; works closely with the client and internal project team members.
Organize, convene, and document regular client and internal project team meetings throughout implementation; establishes deadlines and keeps projects on track.
Communicate project statuses and disseminate project information to clients and internal project teams on a regular basis.
Streamline implementation activities into configuration deliveries.
Provide end-user training and documentation for all product areas to clients as needed as part of implementation.
Development:
Coordinate with Market Unit (Solutions and PMO) to track clients' priorities.
Lead communication between developers and Market Unit.
Track progress of developers during sprints in accordance with plan goals and outcomes in order to manage both internal resources and customer expectations.
Identify and remove roadblocks for development team.
Audit developers commit to guarantee quality and guidelines adherence.
Leverage metrics to monitor progress against commitments.
Resolve and/or escalate blockers to help the teams meet releases.
Organize release-oriented activities.
Foster close cooperation across all team members; encourages cross-training and team support.
Act as a project manager when necessary. Take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and third parties or between our team and other scrum teams.
UAT:
Responsible for supporting the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities for multiple applications on the project.
Conduct and/or actively participate in meetings related to the project with clients and/or other consultants.
Train stakeholders within the Market Unit on upcoming functionality and facilitate any decisions around turning on configuration for existing firms.
Position Requirements
B.S./B.A. in Business or related field preferred
A minimum of 5 years prior work experience working with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry or wealth management
SEI Wealth Platform systems a strong plus
Overarching knowledge of Advisors and Private Banking business. Working knowledge of Operations is a plus.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word; SharePoint, Confluence a plus
Working knowledge of SQL is plus
Well versed with various development methodologies.
Good understanding of technology design implementation. Good Data Analysis skills.
Strong organizational skills including an ability to manage multiple plans with concurrent deliverables and resource needs
Proven ability to support resource load balancing across multiple projects
Ability to work effectively under little supervision.
Ability to work under pressure and manage deliverables against aggressive schedules.
Ability to effectively and successfully manage multiple tasks and deliverables
Excellent time management skills
Strong adaptability, innovative skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills
Must be an effective communicator, with proven experience delivering presentations to senior management and large audiences
Strong writing skills, including an ability to effectively document
Ability to work well in a team environment, including off shore resources
Willingness to travel up to 20% and hold a valid passport
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
