SEI has created a new SEI Wealth Platform to facilitate the wealth management and investment processing needs of our clients worldwide. The scope of the platform is comprehensive and includes client relationship management, investment management, portfolio accounting, transaction initiation, order management, trade execution, clearing, currency and foreign exchange processing, corporate actions processing, reconciliation, financial (reference) data management, financial planning, portfolio management, reporting and operational workflow.
The SEI Wealth Platform has a challenging career opportunity for a Business Analyst. This position requires a foundation of business knowledge in the financial services industry, and the ability to work in an Agile team environment. The candidate should be adaptable, possess experience in the Wealth Management, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements.
The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to some or all of the following:
Lead and/or participate in various simultaneous client and internal projects or initiatives
Participate in the new client implementation process, specifically focusing on identifying, verifying, and documenting data mapping requirements from client & SEI legacy source systems
Maintain project and team artifacts
Effectively support status updates to SEI stakeholders and clients as needed
Manage collection and population of data migration items in support of client conversion to the SEI Wealth Platform
Engage various internal teams as needed to support potential changes in service or operational processes including development needs
Perform effectively in a team environment including internal SEI teams (market units, development, operations)
Where required, train other team members
Be able to function as an individual contributor and make independent decisions where needed
Monitor and adhere to administrative policies and procedures
Position Requirements
B.S./B.A. in Business, Computer Science or related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or with investment processing systems.
Knowledge of Private Banking business.
Knowledge of global instruments including equity, fixed income and funds
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including understanding of technical writing requirements
Strong organizational skills including an ability to manage multiple plans with concurrent deliverables and resource needs
Ability to work effectively under little supervision
Ability to grasp loosely defined concepts and transform them into key deliverables and tangible results
Ability to effectively and successfully manage multiple tasks and deliverables
Excellent time management skills
Strong adaptability, innovative skills, and attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to travel up to 10% and hold a valid passport.

Qualifications:
Experience with SEI Wealth Platform
Understanding of relational databases
Ability to write SQL queries
Location and Travel
This position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Oaks, PA. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
